Organiser terms

Last updated: 14 September 2026

These terms apply if you create or sell events on GidiSquare. They add to the Event Terms and the main Terms and Conditions at https://gidisquare.co.uk/terms-and-conditions.

1. You run the event

You are responsible for the event, venue, licences, insurance, staff, safety, and what you promise on the listing. GidiSquare is not the organiser, promoter, or venue unless we say so in writing.

2. Accurate listings

Keep the title, date, time, venue, capacity, and prices accurate. If the event changes, update the listing and tell ticket holders.

3. Payout setup

To sell paid tickets you must complete Stripe Connect verification. Stripe may ask for identity, address, company details, and bank details.

GidiSquare does not charge a KYC fee. We do not store your passport or driving licence. Stripe does.

Payouts only go to the verified account. The bank name should match you or your company.

4. Venue proof

For your first paid events we may require venue proof, such as a booking email, hire contract, invoice, or owner proof. We can refuse or delay publish if proof is weak.

5. Fees and payouts

Organiser platform fee: £0.

Buyer booking fee: 4.49% + £0.49 per paid ticket, minimum £1.00, unless you absorb it.

Payouts for new organisers are held until after the event. We can freeze payouts if the event is cancelled, a dispute is opened, or we suspect fraud.

If buyers are owed refunds after you have been paid, you must repay us on request.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

You must follow the Refund policy and UK consumer law where it applies. Chargebacks and dispute fees may be passed to you.

7. Tickets and scanning

You must accept valid GidiSquare tickets at the door. You should scan tickets so used tickets cannot be reused.

8. Prohibited use

No fake events, no listings created to dodge review, no selling tickets you do not control, and no using GidiSquare to move money that is not for a real event.

9. Suspension

We may pause listings, tickets, or payouts if these terms are broken or risk is high.
