Last updated: 14 September 2026

This notice covers extra data use for Events. Read it with the main GidiSquare Privacy Policy at https://gidisquare.co.uk/privacy-policy (last updated 20 March 2026). Controller: Gidisquare Limited, 263 Princess Road, Manchester, England, M14 7LZ. Email: support@gidisquare.co.uk

1. What we collect for events

Buyers: name, email, phone if provided, event and ticket details, order amount, fee, payment status, Stripe payment references, ticket codes, and scan times. We do not store full card numbers.

Organisers: profile name, email, phone, event content, venue address, capacity, venue proof files uploaded to GidiSquare, Stripe account status, sales records, and payout records.

2. What we do not collect

We do not store full card numbers.

We do not collect organiser passports or driving licences on GidiSquare. Stripe collects those for payout checks.

Marketplace seller identity checks may still be done by Shufti Pro. As in the main Privacy Policy, we receive the verification result, not the ID documents.

3. Why we use it

We use this data to sell tickets, send confirmations, show organisers who bought tickets, scan tickets at the door, run fees and payouts, handle refunds and chargebacks, prevent fake events and fraud, provide support, and keep legal and tax records. Legal bases: contract, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the service), legal obligation, and consent where we use optional marketing or non-essential cookies.

4. Who we share it with

Stripe, for payments, Connect accounts, payouts, and fraud tools.

Our email provider, for ticket and receipt emails.

The organiser and door staff acting for the organiser, for ticket validity.

Advisers or authorities if required by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Orders, tickets, and payout records are kept as long as needed for support, disputes, and tax. Financial records are usually kept for at least 6 years.

Venue proof is kept for a limited time after the event. We aim for up to 18 months unless we must keep it longer.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and you can withdraw marketing consent. Email support@gidisquare.co.uk. You can complain to the ICO at https://www.ico.org.uk
