Refund policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

What happens to your ticket money if an event is cancelled, postponed, or goes ahead as planned.

If the event is cancelled

Buyers receive the ticket face value back where funds are still held.

The booking fee is kept, unless we say otherwise for that event.

Payouts to the organiser are frozen so refunds can be paid.

If the event is postponed

Tickets usually stay valid for the new date. Payouts stay held until the new date. If you cannot attend, contact the organiser.

If the event is going ahead

Refunds are the organiser's decision, unless UK law says otherwise. Ask the organiser first. If you cannot reach them, email support@gidisquare.co.uk with your order email and event name.

Chargebacks

If you raise a card dispute, we may freeze tickets and payouts while it is reviewed. Unfair chargebacks can be challenged using door-scan and order records.

Organisers

Cancelled events must be refunded from held funds. If you already received a payout, you must repay the refund amounts.
