Buyers
Paid tickets include a GidiSquare booking fee of 4.49% + £0.49 per paid ticket, with a minimum of £1.00.
That fee includes card processing. We do not add a separate Stripe charge at checkout.
Free tickets cost £0.
Who pays the fee
By default the buyer pays the fee on top of the ticket price.
Organisers can absorb the fee. The buyer then pays face value only, and we deduct the fee from the organiser payout.
Examples
- £10 ticket, fee passed on: buyer pays £11.00. Organiser gets £10.00.
- £40 ticket, fee passed on: buyer pays £42.29. Organiser gets £40.00.
- £40 ticket, organiser absorbs fee: buyer pays £40.00. Organiser gets £37.71.
What the fee covers
Card processing, payouts, support, and fraud tools.
Chargebacks and some refunds can still reduce an organiser's balance. See the Refund policy.
Other
There is no monthly organiser subscription on this plan.
VAT may apply to GidiSquare fees if we are required to charge it.
Shop and service sales on the main GidiSquare marketplace still use the separate marketplace commission in our main Terms and Conditions. That marketplace commission does not apply to GidiSquare Event ticket face value.
